Corporate Social Responsibility

As a leading manufacturer of pipe fittings for integrated water system, we see the significance of a safe and secure water resources for life and better health. We believe that it is part of our responsibilities and obligations toward our community and environment. Therefore, we take a great concern to extent some social services while sharing our thoughts for a better life, a better understanding of clean water, conservation, and sustainability for our next generations.
Persatuan Kebajikan Lim Hock Chiang is launched by Lim's family since 16th May 2015, which is led by Ms. Lim Moh Nee, the Chief Business Development Officer of Polyware Sdn Bhd, with the primary objective of promoting the spiritual values of her late father Mr. Lim Hock Chiang as well as the initiator of the company: Helping others to be a better person should always come first. The Welfare Society registered as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and focus on 3 areas: LIFE EDUCATION, ENVIRONMENT and COMMUNITY.

SELF DISCOVERY CLASS (怡保生命成长共修班)
It is a vital part of education as it leads us to have true understanding of ourselves, our inner heart and understanding the relationship between ourselves with others. We also clarify the meaning and the values of life.
With the support from Polyware Sdn Bhd, Persatuan Kebajikan Lim Hock Chiang works together with Positive2u SdnBhd from Penang for giving a series of Life Education and Mental Health Talks to public since March 2015.

WORLD CLEANUP DAY
15TH SEPTEMBER 2018
Polyware colleagues are participating in this event to work together to create a green environment. The event was very successful and received a total of about 500 participants. Participants were divided into 6 teams, along the Ipoh River, the DR Park and the old street. A total of 477.6KGS of garbage was collected, and 32.8% (156.6KGS) of garbage was recycled. I hope that everyone can continue this spirit of caring for the environment and let us work together to create a better green environment.

Me & Earth Day event was a collaboration between Quest International University Perak and Persatuan Kebajikan Lim Hock Chiang which is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) fully supported by Polyware Sdn Bhd. This significant green project was supported by Institute Darul Ridzuan (IDR). The main objective of the event was to create awareness on eco-enzyme and this was delivered to participants through instruction in the ways of producing eco enzymes from fruit peels.

In line with Quest International University Perak’s policy of engaging students in experiential learning, this semester students in the School of Communication worked on an eco-enzyme project. This Project is spearheaded by Persatuan Kebajikan Lim Hock Chiang, which is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) supported by Polyware Sdn Bhd. The project is primarily funded by Institute Darul Ridzuan (IDR).
